I haven’t gotten my refund from my tax return. When will I get it?
You can track your refund online for your Federal refund (Where's My Refund) and your Alabama refund (Where's My Refund).

How will the status of my tax return be communicated with me?
We will contact you whenever your participation is needed via email, text message, or phone call. This may be for additional documents needed, clarifying questions, or when we are ready for signatures. You are welcome to contact the office any time for an update on the status of your tax return preparation.

How much will my return cost?
Our basic 1040 tax returns start at $200 and will increase based on the complexity of your return. During your Free Consultation, we can assess your needs as well as the documents you provide and give you an estimate prior to beginning your return.

How do I upload documents?
We have various ways for you to submit documents to us. You are welcome to bring documents to your appointment, drop off or mail your documents to our office, or electronically upload them via our Intuit Portal.
Please note that we CANNOT accept flash drives containing your tax documents.

I am a small business. Can you help me with my business return?
We help multiple small businesses each year with their tax returns! Our starting rate begins at $750 and will increase based on the complexity of the return. We are happy to review your documents and provide you with an estimated preparation fee prior to beginning your return.

What happens if my return is not filed by April 15th?
We will file an extension for any tax return that is not completed by April 15th. The deadline to file your extension is October 15th. Please note that if you owe any taxes when filing an extension that you are still obligated to pay by April 15th.

What are your office hours?
During tax season we are open from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
After May 1st, we are open from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.

For investment management, typically a percentage fee is charged. Our fees vary depending on the specifics of your situation, but we are always upfront and open about costs. Hourly rates are contingent upon the specific advisor and service and can average $150-$500 per hour.

There is no "initial fee" for an introductory consultation. During this meeting, we’ll discuss your financial goals and work to understand your financial picture, for you to get to know us and our practice prior to service arrangements and determine if we are the right fit for you and vice versa. If we move forward, we’ll outline the scope of work and the associated costs for your customized financial plan.
